Here is what I came up with, myself, for Kindred Rune Study 2. Your answers may vary, of course, depending on how you have chosen to assign meanings to the runes. I have listed my meanings in CAPITALS.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What one rune would you pick to represent:
1. a boy or male child: DAGAZ
2. a girl or female child: LAGUZ
3. a young man: ING
4. a young woman: BERKANO
5. a middle aged man: MANNAZ
6. a middle aged woman: PERTHRO
7. an elderly man: ANSUZ
8. an elderly woman: OTHALA
NOTE:
A. As an alternative, I thought Wunjo might might good for a girl/female child, in which case, I would have used Laguz as a middle aged woman.
9. a friend: ALGIZ
10. an enemy or competitor: THURISAZ
The TWO RUNE COMBINATIONS (reading from left to right):
11. A family experiencing a period of difficulties: OTHALA HAGALAZ
Note that if we had these switched around: HAGALAZ OTHALA, we might say that the family had passed or overcome its period of difficulties.
12. Going on vacation in a month: WUNJO MANNAZ
13. A business relationship: GEBO FEHU
14. An emotional relationship: GEBO LAGUZ
15. Travel for fun: RAIDHO WUNJO
16. Your boss has a secret: PERTHRO TYR
Note that the secret is "behind" the boss, showing that the boss is keeping the secret. If we had them switched around: TYR PERTHRO, we might say that the boss is letting a secret out, disclosing information previously hidden.
17. A letter arriving in a week: ANSUZ SOWILO
18. A secret from the past: PERTHRO ISA
19. A change of job: EHWAZ EIHWAZ
20. Money earned from art or a creative project: ING FEHU
Note that if we had these switched around: FEHU ING, we might say that it meant investing money in art or a creative project.
21. News from the family or about the family: OTHALA ANSUZ
22. Studying spiritual matters: KENAZ EIHWAZ
23. The building where you work: URUZ EHWAZ
24. Health improves over the course of a year: URUZ JERA
A couple more SINGLE RUNE concepts:
25. Need or necessity: NAUTHIZ
26. Justice or Legal Matters: JERA (Other kindred members picked TYR.)
